In the summer of 2022, I had my first visit with Dr. Her, and from the very beginning, I knew I had found the right person to guide me on my health journey. His functional medicine approach…focusing on the root cause rather than just symptoms…has been truly life-changing! My plan has included a combination of supplements, medications, nutrition, and exercise, and I’m beyond thrilled to share that my recent test results show real progress! I was so excited that I even asked Dr. Her for a photo to capture this milestone! haha! When I first walked into his office, I felt lost, overwhelmed, and completely defeated. I am a retired MSN , RN. I spent more than 40 years working in “classical” healthcare. I experienced a heart attack and stents in 2022. I received the standard of care in the hospital and was discharged with the standard medications. These medications resulted in strange and unexpected side effects that were not recognized in classical medicine. I was desperate for help and traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona to see a respected Natural Medicine doctor. His remedies only lasted for several months. My life was very disrupted. I was just getting by by day by day. I have done a lot of reading regarding healthcare since my retirement.I knew that Functional Medicine was what I needed. When I entered Telos I immediately felt the healing and I had not yet met Dr Her. My wellness journey to balance in mind, body and spirit continues. I am now enjoying my life once again. I feel so blessed and greatful. I wish you all the blessing of hope and wellness. In the winter of 2024 I experienced a couple of bumps in the road that were not health issues originally. The first was kidney stones . I have needed surgery on 2 occasions in the past because I could not pass them.These stones were larger than previous ones. My body was able to pass them due the positive internal changes in my body due to following Dr. Her’s healing plan. The second issue was salivary gland stones. I had them in the past but this time I was advised that the gland would need to be surgically removed,! I did not want that invasive and risky intervention. Dr. Her advised me that continuing my plan of care which included PEMF would resolve this situation.I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Her. I was patient and confident in following his advice. I spit out the stones on Maundy Thursday!! DR.HER SAVED ME FROM UNDERGOING 2 SURGERIES THAT YEAR!,,Restoring my body’s balance resulted in allowing my body to heal itself.
