The best doctor I’ve ever seen. I have never had a physician spend 3 full hours with me, carefully examining, listening, and truly working to understand my concerns. For more than 20 years, I’ve struggled with an unusual nerve entrapment in my arms and was often dismissed by other providers, leaving me feeling as though my condition wasn’t being taken seriously. Through PRP and nerve hydrodissection treatments, my condition has improved in ways I never thought possible. What was once daily, chronic pain at a level 9 has now been reduced to minimal pain. I mentioned to my regular Doctor that my shoulders were becoming so dysfunctional, and painful, and couldnt carry even grocery bags or put on a jacket anymore it was that bad, and that if she had any experience or knowledge of this 'Stem Cell' treatments being talked about. She told me the place I needed to go was Regenerative Performance. Now mind you I am in Peoria, but after reading the reviews and the feedback and progress people made, I was willing to have the conversation and make the drive because from all appearances it looked to be the best option in the Valley. I was at a point where everything was being affected by both shoulders having been worn out by sports, hardwork, firefighting, lifting, etc. They were very warm and friendly and you could sense this was not a clinic that just grinds people through, and on to the next thing. They make you feel like it was the most important thing they had to do today. They took me through some screenings to diagnose, test, and evaluations. I had multiple issues happening which I knew was the case, and I felt very confident that Doctor Timmerman's was accurate with what he saw and what he wanted to do fix it. I trusted him and chose the most comprehensive of the 3 options presented to me: PRP and the 'Intra-Osseous' Bone Stem Cell injections. They helped me plan with what life would be like after, what supplements and other support I would want to begin, and every detail was covered. This was done in April of 2025. It is now September and I no longer have the pain whether in use or not in use, I carry everything around now, I used to have to sleep a certain way to be comfortable so that is over now. I met them in August for a check-up and I let them know i was feeling about 40% better. Now it's september 2025 and its more like 75% better, and they told me it would continue to make improvements as they stem cells work, and they are right, it keeps going. It was an investment into my quality of life but it did deliver and I would do it again - And I would recommend them to anybody as a top-tier facility and experts in this treatment, from Dr. Timmermans who diagnosed me and led the surgery and also prayed with me before surgery for the outcome which was really touching, and the receptionist Kylie, the Nurse, Dr. Mesister who checks up on me. I’ve been seeing Dr. Myers for years and I’ve never experienced such a thorough health history, patient intake, and blood panels before. I feel valued as a patient and know that all my concerns are addressed and treated. My lab work is extensively dissected and discussed in a timely manner. She works with me with developing a supplement regiment that is easy to be compliant with. I also have received multiple wellness IV’s and Stella is an amazing IV stick and very thoughtful and caring during the infusion. I have recommended Dr Myers to friends, whom have already established care with her. She has extensive knowledge and excellent bedside manner and I couldn’t recommend her enough.
