* *** * 1 day ago When I started seeing the doctors at AFM my brain fog was so concerning I wasn't sure I was going to have the presents of mind to follow the program. However they are incredibly supportive and made It so simple with easy to follow recipes, shopping lists, where to buy the products and even pictures of the approved foods, so you can't go wrong. I was able to complete the entire program. The fog lifted my A1c is in normal range again and my cholesterol is down 100 points. It's been 18 months and I continue the grain free lifestyle and the bonus is I have lost 30 pounds and my weight has been stable for the last six months.

AFM is a team of professionals who helped me get healthy again from the root. I have struggled with fibromyalgia for years to come and find it was not really fibro. After extensive testing my symptoms are now under control, cholesterol is down, blood pressure is normal, reversed prediabetes plus stiffness and pain in my joints are gone. I have more energy without caffeine and my skin seems to be glowing. All with an added benefit, loss of 14 lbs. This all did not come without many changes to my diet, supplements, guidance and support from the team. But after you start feeling and seeing the results and know what your body does and doesn't need, you will stick with it! The main reason for going on this program, after the free dinner seminar, was that I realized I needed help to find what was going on in my body. I thought I did my research on this place before going. I read that they do not prescribe medication, but they try to get to the root of the issue by performing extensive testing. I was feeling really hopeful going into my initial consult because I’m so tired of getting the runaround from other doctors and just being given medication. I really thought this place was going to help me. Turns out, it was one big sales pitch. There were about 4 red flags before the final one that sealed the deal for me. After telling me about all these great things they can do for me, I asked “what’s the cost?”. His response…” we will get to that “. Immediate no from me. He tells me about the 28 day detox, the supplements, and how he thinks I would be a great candidate for the 4 month treatment plan. He then shows me a paper with prices. A 4 month plan for labs, supplements, and a grocery list is $500/month for 24 months (totaling $12,000). When I told him I could not afford or commit to that, he offered the 3 month plan ($400/month for 24 months). Wow. What a steal. Again, I told him I could not commit to that. Then he pulls out another paper where I had an option to pay over $3,000. I said I would need to consult with my fiancée before making a financial commitment like this. He continued to pressure me saying “does he know about your health issues? Does he support you? If he supports you, don’t you think he’d want you to do what’s good for your health?”. Gross. When I walked out of the office, I sat in my truck and did more digging. Turns out, everyone is a candidate for the 4 month treatment plan, and everyone should do the 28 day detox with supplements (regardless of your health issues). Also, they apparently threatened someone with legal action for posting a bad review. Shaadyyyy!! Moral of the story….don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money. Find a real doctors office that will actually help you and not send you away with supplements and a grocery list.
