I’ve been fortunate to experience treatment from world class medical personnel around the world for a variety of different combat sports, rugby and work related injuries and can honestly say, the Akasha center has been one the most thorough, heart centered and compassionate practices I’ve been treated by. Fusing modern medicine with holistic modalities, bio hacking integrative technologies, modern science, Eastern Vedic wisdom and a variety of other modalities, this comprehensive approach truly gets to the root cause of the underlying issues and develop a strategic game plan to optimize health and reestablish homeostasis thru healing. Gina, couldn’t have been more thorough, caring or beneficial to my healing journey. I am grateful to the talented, highly educated staff at Akasha center for helping me reclaim my health and well being in a multitude of different ways. I highly recommend this practice!

If you are looking for legit evidence-based integrative medicine Akasha is the place to go From front desk to providers everyone is wonderful and genuinely friendly. As someone who has been to a number of alternative and integrative health places, Akasha is literally the only one that I’ve ever felt is transparent about pricing and services and I have never once left with that icky pressure to spend more and purchase their products or buy some package. For those experienced with integrative medicine You know exactly what I am talking about- that statement alone is exactly enough to really show what a needle in the hay Akasha is- in the best way. I’ve seen several providers at Akasha but regularly see Dr. T for acupuncture for chronic pain. And I must say Dr. T is THE BEST!!!! I’ve seen multiple acupuncturists with disappointing results despite returning for more sessions. The only thing those practitioners left me with was less money and leaving every single time feeling pressured into buying some “package deal” or “magical” supplement. You won’t get that with Dr.T- which is refreshing and at least for me, provides a bit more faith in the integrity of the provider. Dr. T is also very well versed in conventional medicine which has been a blessing when it comes to explaining my history. Anyways… Since seeing Dr. T, regularly the pain from neuropathy in my legs has decreased greatly and allowed me to cut down medications and pain markedly (and at least for me, did more good than PT). Besides being a great acupuncturist, she is a great human: warm, a good listener, empathetic, funny and always willing to try new things to help her patients improve both their mobility and quality of life. She cares about her patients and it’s clear. And works hard to keep up with learning new skills and techniques. Don’t expect a miracle the first time. Any acupuncturist who says you’ll feel all better after a treatment with them is a big red flag. be patient and know she’ll work at it until you get some relief- and more importantly your quality of life back.

When I came into Akasha my blood work numbers were all over the place, I was a good twenty pounds overweight, and had chronic AFib. Now my blood work is pristine, my weight is what it was when I was twenty and after oblation and great after care I work out four times a week and do jiu jitsu everyday. Oh and did I say I’m 60? I feel like I’m thirty thanks to Dr. De Mello’s integrative approach, and total focus on my well being. I’m very grateful for this amazing man and this amazing place. Doc?
