Peptide Therapy clinics in Santa Monica
Peptide therapy in Santa Monica is offered mainly through wellness-focused medical offices and hormone clinics rather than one single medical campus. A number of practices sit along the Wilshire Boulevard corridor, with another concentration near the hospital campus around Arizona Avenue and 22nd Street, and additional offices along Santa Monica Boulevard and Main Street toward Ocean Park. Patients coming from Pacific Palisades or Malibu often travel south on Pacific Coast Highway into Santa Monica for this kind of care, since those areas have fewer dedicated hormone and peptide clinics of their own, and residents of Venice and Mar Vista frequently look at Santa Monica listings for the same reason. Brentwood and West Los Angeles add a few more options for anyone willing to widen the search along the 10 freeway corridor.
Locally, peptide therapy is usually delivered in a physician's office or a wellness studio set up for injections and routine lab review, not an urgent care or emergency setting. A physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant typically oversees the plan, though the person who writes the prescription is not always the one giving each injection. A first visit generally covers health history, current medications, and goals, often alongside baseline bloodwork, before a specific peptide is proposed. Follow-up visits are where a clinic checks for side effects and adjusts the plan, so it is worth asking in advance how often those check-ins happen.
Before booking, ask which license the prescribing clinician holds and who supervises day to day care. Ask exactly which peptide is being used, what it is compounded from, which pharmacy supplies it, and for a written summary of risks before starting. Ask what happens if the plan does not produce the results you hoped for, and request a quote that separates the consultation, medication, lab work, and follow-up visits, since this care is usually billed outside of insurance.
How this Santa Monica list is ordered matters too. Listing order is not paid ranking, Featured slots are labeled and capped, and a Verified badge reflects credential checks rather than advertising spend. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and appearing in this directory is not an endorsement of any clinic's claims. The national hub for peptide therapy covers the mechanism and evidence in more depth; read How to read a Regenerated city hub and Featured vs Verified vs organic for more on how this page works.

Regulatory context
A note on California's peptide therapy rules.
Most research peptides used in regenerative medicine (BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin) are not FDA-approved drugs. Sermorelin and tesamorelin hold FDA approvals for specific indications. In 2023 and 2024 the FDA placed several peptides into Category 2 on its Bulk Drug Substances Nominated for Use in Compounding list, which restricts 503A compounding pharmacies from sourcing those ingredients for patient-specific prescriptions. Section 503A covers traditional pharmacies; Section 503B covers FDA-registered outsourcing facilities operating under cGMP.
-
California Business and Professions Code Division 2 Chapter 9 (Pharmacy Law)
Governs compounding, licensure, and sourcing under the California State Board of Pharmacy. -
California Code of Regulations Title 16 Section 1735 et seq.
Sets compounding standards for sterile and non-sterile preparations. -
California Business and Professions Code Section 2052
Defines practice of medicine and limits who may prescribe or administer drugs. -
California Naturopathic Doctors Act
Grants licensed NDs limited prescriptive authority under formulary advisory committee rules.
The California State Board of Pharmacy inspects sterile compounding facilities under stringent state rules that often exceed USP 797. The Board has issued citations for sourcing non-compliant bulk ingredients and for office-use stocking that should have flowed through a 503B. Non-resident pharmacies shipping into California must hold a current non-resident permit; the Board publishes disciplinary actions and annual inspection findings. Clinics dispensing from in-office stock of compounded peptides are examined closely.
