The Colorado MS Center is the best place to get infused in Denver. Why do I say this?
1. A modern, well-appointed office that feels less clinical and more professional on the 6th floor of a nice office building near I-25 and Colorado Blvd. They make a good cup of coffee and have snacks too.
2. Consistent, friendly staff
3. No waiting. If you make your appointment for 8 am, you're getting seen back to your comfy infusion chair. They schedule your next visit, insert your IV, connect your medication, and you're being infused 5-10 minutes after arrival. If you're like me and on Tysabri, they allow you to leave immediately afterward (you must sign a waiver). This past week I arrived at 7:50 am, was infusing at 8:02 am, done at 9:02 am, and was in my car driving home at 9:10 am. To me, that’s fast.
4. Walter is my infusion expert and is excellent at his job. He has all IV supplies prepped before you walk in and has your medication ready. He is *smooth* at inserting the IV. Most of the time, I don't feel a thing. The best infusionists have experience as an EMT or in an ER or Ambulance setting like Walter. Walter is friendly, prepared, and remembers details about my life. I've seen him consistently now for one year. The guy before him, Jason, was equally great to work with. In other words, Dr. Anzalone has hired a great team.
I don't see Dr. Anzalone as my neurologist; however, my current neurologist, Dr. Corboy, who is set to retire soon, has endorsed my decision to move to Dr. Anzalone in 2024.
I had my infusions performed at Porter Hospital's infusion clinic for seven years. I loved the nurses at Porter but had to budget an extra hour on my calendar to account for check-in time, waiting for my medication to arrive, and being monitored for 30 minutes afterward.
The Colorado MS Center uses a system of communicating through an app and on their website called Spruce, which makes it easy to confirm appointments. In addition, they always message me the day after an infusion to check on my health.
Also, they run all my blood tests and my JVC tests when I'm there so that I avoid extra trips to a doctor or to get blood draws.
Highly recommend them!

I’ve had MS for a while now and moved to Colorado roughly 6 years ago. (In other words, I’ve seen my share of neurologists over the years in three different states.). I previously saw Dr. Anzalone at a different neurological practice and when she left I was switched to the main doctor at that practice. Because I was applying for disability at the time, I decided to wait until I was approved to switch to the MS Center to avoid document confusion. Boy, im so glad I did!
Dr. Anzalone is more of a motherly kind of doctor who isn’t shy at all about telling you the truth. As a patient, it’s never felt overbearing to me, rather, she tells me what I need to hear. I feel like that’s exactly what I’m hoping for whenever seeing a doctor for the first time.
When switching to the Colorado MS Center, my initial appointment with her was nearly an hour and a half long. It’s somewhat sad how rare it felt to have a professional treat me like a human being, who was asking about my daily routines and interests, which helped me think of issues that I would have overlooked otherwise. I finished my second visit with her today, six months later from the first, and she still gave me plenty of time to remember any questions I had that I wanted to ask and forgot to write down.
MS can be a very tricky autoimmune disease where I’ll find myself googling little things that may or may not be relevant to my diagnosis. It’s nice to have the opportunity to ask someone who has the patience and knowledge to answer my concerns without any hesitation.
Her practice uses the Spruce app and everyone employed there is familiar with the system, which is an issue I’ve come across at other doctors offices in the past. I always receive quick replies and refills are always handled quickly too. The office itself is very homey and clearly has been made to give off a relaxing vibe. As a result, everyone in the practice, myself included, appear to be calm but still very professional. The location is downtown, which I’m not a huge fan of but that’s a very small complaint amongst all of the good. ☺️

I’ve been seeing Dr Anzalone since 2019. I have nothing but positive things to say. I never feel rushed, she listens, and quick to respond. Her knowledge base is vast in both eastern and western medicine. I have a lot of rigidity and spasms and the traditional medications weren’t providing relief. She recommended an alternative that has me moving much better. It’s changed my life. If you’re newly diagnosed or suffering from MS, I’d highly recommend seeing Dr Anzalone.
