Connecticut
In Connecticut, platelet rich plasma (PRP) is offered mostly in three places: Fairfield County, around Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich and Bridgeport, then Greater New Haven and Greater Hartford. Smaller numbers of providers work in Waterbury, Danbury and the New London area, while Litchfield County in the northwest and the quieter northeastern corner of the state have little or nothing listed. The state is compact, so most residents can reach one of the main metros as a day trip. People near the borders often look outside the state too, toward Westchester County and New York City from Fairfield County, toward Springfield from the northern towns, or toward Rhode Island from the east.
PRP is not governed by a separate Connecticut rule that singles it out; it sits under the same general federal and professional rules that cover any injectable procedure. The centrifuge systems used to prepare it are cleared medical devices, but most of the uses patients ask about, from knee arthritis to hair loss and facial skin, are not FDA approved indications, and evidence varies by use. You will find it in orthopedic and sports medicine practices, pain clinics, dermatology and hair restoration offices, and wellness or aesthetic settings, and the licensure of the clinician directing care matters more than the name on the door.
To verify a provider, use the Connecticut Department of Public Health license lookup. Physicians and physician assistants answer to the Connecticut Medical Examining Board, and nurses and nurse practitioners to the Connecticut Board of Examiners for Nursing. A lookup shows whether a license is active and any public disciplinary record; it does not tell you whether a clinic's PRP protocol suits your diagnosis.
Before booking anywhere in Connecticut, ask who draws, prepares and injects the PRP and which licensed clinician supervises, what device is used and whether imaging guides the injection, how risks are disclosed in writing, what happens if the first round does not help, and what a written quote itemizes.
Listing order on this page is not sold, and Featured slots are labeled and capped. Verified means a clinic completed credential checks, not that it paid more, and Regenerated.com is free for patients. Inclusion here is not an endorsement of any clinic. The national PRP hub covers how the treatment works and what the research shows. For badges and ordering, read How to read a Regenerated city hub and Featured vs Verified vs organic.
