**PLEASE Reread the review. Read in its entirety** The only reason im giving any stars at all is because of Dr. Kirsch. He has been great and so glad I switched from Dr. Sherz to him. My baby started off with Dr. Sherz(maybe spelling his name wrong) but the entire time he had a stale personality which is fine. I would expect him to be a little more chipper being that you are working with children but That was the least of my issues.... My issue was that after my babys hypaspadius surgery, we went for the followup to check on it and in the room was these weird tools set up I never seen. The dr. Said he has scar tissue and he needs to push it through. I had no idea what to expect next thing you know he takes this long tool and shoved it into my babys penis and he was screaming screams I never heard before(he had to stick this long thing in TWO TIMES). For weeks he would cry if he even seen us getting his diaper ready to change him. After looking into this I found out my baby had a dialation of the uretha done UNMEDICATED! I was never warned that this was going to happen when apparently the tools was already set up in the room so the office knew! My baby was never given any type of numbing aide, pain relief or anything! He was bleeding, it was very traumatic. He was then given medicine so he doesnt get infected. I cried my entire drive home! It didnt sit right with me and seemed very unethical so I called the office and spoke with a nurse(she sounded young) asking her if this was common practice. She said "we would not have put him to sleep for that we dont even put babies to sleep for circumcision" I then replied that I wasnt seeking for him to be put to sleep but at least advise the parent to administer Tylenol first, or some lidocaine or some sort of numbing agent. She then replied "babies pain receptors are different than us as adults" I couldnt believe what she was saying! She was not in that room and my baby definitely was in major pain and already associated diaper changes with pain that happened to him. This was such an awful experience! I immediately switched to Dr. Kirsche.(i was referred to him by a friend) and its been great. He tells me exactly what hes doing, preps me on what the next appointment will look like and already advised if he has to do anything he will numb the area first. He has an upbeat energy to him. He was talking with my baby and just overall friendly. That is the only reason im even giving stars. We need more doctors that care like him.

This office does not honor appointment times despite having an aggressive cancellation policy and related fees. Over an hour has passed since my daughter’s appointment time and no provider has come by. They keep saying “someone will be in soon”. Go somewhere else. This office is terrible.

We’ve been very disappointed with our experience since being referred to Georgia Urology. My daughter’s MRI clearly showed a blockage around her kidney. CHOA was upfront in telling us this was outside their scope and that we would need to see a urologist. Unfortunately, the urologist we saw last week spent less than two minutes with her, showed no concern for the fact that she is in constant pain, and when I asked how this condition might affect another chronic issue she has, he shrugged and said, “I guess you’ll just have to find out.” Over the weekend, my daughter experienced another painful flare-up. When I reached out through the patient portal, the nurse responded with the same scripted message multiple times, simply telling us to go to the ER—even after I explained we had already tried that route without success. At no point did the nurse offer any real guidance or assistance, and instead suggested we “find another doctor” if we weren’t satisfied with her responses. This level of care feels dismissive and unprofessional, with little to no compassion for what my daughter is going through. She is at the mercy of her healthcare providers, yet it feels as though her pain and well-being aren’t being taken seriously at all.
