I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Rachel Rubin and her entire team. Her work and dedication to women’s health — especially for those of us navigating perimenopause — is truly life-changing. I feel so fortunate to be a patient in her clinic.
Meeting her in person while I was there was such an honor. She is not only exceptionally smart and knowledgeable, but also so warm, down to earth, and easy to talk to. She makes you feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for.
It’s rare to find a physician who combines this level of expertise with such compassion and approachability. I’m beyond thankful to be under her teams care and deeply appreciate the work she’s doing.

Working with Dr Rubin has completely changed my quality of life. I have multiple related conditions that took years to identify and connect to each other, because previous doctors would only treat one issue without considering the full picture or would tell me my pain was in my head. Dr Rubin truly listened and helped me put the pieces together. I finally feel empowered in my health journey and I’m continually inspired by her strong advocacy for hormone treatments. Dr. Rachel Rubin is a rock star. I want to shout it from the roof top! I have had the privilege of being under her care for five years. I suffered with perimenopause and menopause symptoms for five years before I found her. She has turned my life upside down in the best way. With medical anxiety, early onset menopause and a few other fun issues, she first built trust. I was skittish. She has held my had as we have experimented to find what works best for me and has made me feel safe, heard, and valued. She has opened my mind and world and enhanced not only my quality of life but has given me tons of educational resources and empowered me to trust and advocate for myself. She has made me lighter as I know she is in my corner. She is a bright light for so many. Her sense of humor, hearty laugh, fortitude to fight the healthcare system, and devotion to her field and staff never cease to amaze me. There is a lot of misinformation out there coupled with a whole lotta stigma and I needed a warrior in my village, and I found her. I hope you do too.

Dr. Rubin and her team are truly remarkable and have absolutely changed my life. My appointments here have been the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. After years of feeling dismissed and rushed in other offices, I finally feel seen and heard. Dr. Rubin and her staff don’t just aim to make things slightly better, their goal is to fully resolve your health concerns.
Appointments are never rushed (typically around 45 minutes), which makes a world of difference. Dr. Rubin takes the time to listen carefully, explain thoroughly, and advocate for her patients every step of the way. Her entire team goes above and beyond (truly the extra 100 miles) to make sure you have everything you need. They are the most caring and supportive medical team I have ever come across.
One example that shows just how incredible they are: we were having issues getting Botox from a specialized pharmacy for a medical procedure, and I found myself apologizing to Dr. Rubin’s team over the phone for all the trouble they were having to go through. Instead of brushing it off, they said, “It is our pleasure to advocate for our patients. We are here for you, and this is why we do what we do!” It nearly brought me to tears. I had never heard that from a medical team before (special shout out to Grace and Sophie!!). That moment captures exactly who they are. The entire team is behind you every step of the way, fiercely advocating for your care.
I cannot recommend this office enough. We need more people like Dr. Rubin and her staff in this world.

I am so grateful to be a patient of Dr. Rubin and her whole team. Dr. Rubin is the first doctor who actually took the time to listen to me when I was at my lowest, and has never given up on me even when it felt like I would never get better. I have traveled from Massachusetts to Maryland to see her, have her perform a surgery on me and other procedures, and I would do it all again. And, she is also accessible via Telehealth, which is great for folks who live out of state. She genuinely cares about her patients (as does her entire staff). For example, a member of her staff, Sophie, has written me countless doctor’s notes to allow me to get school, standardized testing, and workplace accommodations.
Dr. Rubin is extremely collaborative - which is rare in my experience with other doctors. She spoke with one of my doctor’s here all the way in Massachusetts and because of how intelligent and well-respected she is, my doctor happily pursued the treatment Dr. Rubin knew to be best for me. Something else that is great about Dr. Rubin is her willingness to admit when something is beyond her expertise. She has referred me to excellent providers, and was supportive of me getting a surgery that she herself could not perform but that ended up being really helpful to me. Dr. Rubin is also an excellent surgeon herself, and was extremely accessible after the surgery she performed on me (a surgery that has also been crucial to my steady improvement).
I do not exaggerate when I say Dr. Rubin is the nicest, most caring, and intelligent doctor I have ever been a patient of. Even if you don’t live in Maryland, if you are experiencing any kind of pelvic pain, I highly recommend that you schedule a Telehealth appointment with Dr. Rubin. Even if you can’t see her in person, she will still be able to provide you some guidance on next steps to take, will listen to you, and will make you feel hopeful that you can get better.
