I trusted the dr, and did the start of experimental drug, they took alot of blood, did an mri, never got to see results. Then got denied to do the experimental drug. Had a few dr. Appts where they took more blood but would not give results without another appt. Couldn't afford to go. Now getting billed for blood labs and still no results. I called the office and they won't call me back. This office has just made me realize its all about money. Very disappointing 😞 the office ordered the blood work. Not the lab. I never got results or know what the bloodwork was. Therefore, im paying for tests from this office that I had no answers for. Other doctors will give you results by phone or letter. I found out my dxd of ms by phone, after hours. So yes, doctors give answers over the phone or by mail.

This is how providers should practice! Dr. Sharlin took the time to listen and go over different options. He is very approachable and intelligent.

It felt like I had a lot of my neurological symptoms written off from the initial consultation, but I thought I trusted Dr. Sharlin and his plan, and went ahead with the testing he wanted to start with. This addressed one (and the most minor) of my symptoms. At my second sitdown appointment he said there was nothing he could do to help me with the rest. What was really upsetting, though, was being hurried out the door and told by the Dr. he couldn't be late for a "very important meeting," and didn't have time to answer any questions as to why he felt my situation is out of his realm. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Edited: The statement that the Dr. spent 30 mins with me in the follow-up is a flat out lie and insulting. He briefly explained his findings and opinion, and immediately became irritated when I tried to ask questions to further understand. The majority of my symptoms were not once addressed at either appointment. Unfortunately, he made it clear his meeting was of more importance than making sure the patient was heard and seen that day. I absolutely understand the reasoning behind allotted times for appointments. There was never any "invitation to return to discuss things." I was actually told, quite frankly, he had given me his opinion and there was nothing else he could do for me. Thankfully, my primary care was happy to send a second opinion referral and I will be going to Washingon University.
