No, I would not recommend this practice. I switched to this practice several years ago because my sister goes here and loves it, but I didn't have a very good experience. When I went for my first appointment I circled the parking lot for 1/2 an hour before finding a space. I was charged a certain amount for blood work which was fine, but the next time I got the very same blood work, I was charged more and they couldn't tell me why... Then, I called to make an appointment and when they thought I was the mom of Will Pendergraft (one of the founders) because my last name is Pendergraft, they said I could come right over, but when they realized I was no relation, they said I couldn't come for several months because they were all booked up. Also, my niece was a patient there and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and they began giving her infusions at the practice to help her and then, for whatever reason, they cancelled their ability to provide the infusions and she has to now drive to Raleigh. Too many glitches and unknowns for me!

No star would be appropriate. When we repeatedly needed medical help for me at 84 years old with uncontrollable diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration, we had to beg for an appointment... several different days. We were told to go to an urgent care facility (which we did, even when they told us that I should see our PCP for follow-up), to go get blood tests at our blood testing facility of choice (which would be where?). When either of us came for our full annual health examination, Dr. McGregor sat in her chair and asked questions but NEVER touched either of us, did not listen to heart or lungs, palpitate necks for lumps, or basically do anything required in a health examination. Once the doctor she started the business with left the practice, IMCNC turned into a boutique, not a medical facility.

My favorite doctor is Dr. Julie McGregor. I loved her because she sat down with me and with no computer, no notepad and talked to me face to face and she cared. I would love to see her again but they don't accept Medicaid and you have to pay out of pocket. She was helping me with my ibs-d but now I've been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (what the singer Celine Dion has) I know if I would have seen her, I would be in the best care. It's very hard to find doctors like Dr. Julie McGregor
