I scheduled a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation, but the appointment lasted approximately 15 minutes. I felt there was little interest in understanding me, my history, or my concerns, and the interaction left me feeling judged rather than supported. There was no meaningful discussion, assessment, or opportunity to ask questions. An initial evaluation should feel thorough, attentive, and patient-centered. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.
