I really have to tell my story, after going to 3 different orthopedic surgeons whose only interest was to give me cortisone injections or a hip replacement! cortisone injections have huge side effects, plus they only mask the problem & a hip replacement is the last resort for a bad hip, I didn’t feel I had reached that stage yet! Then I discovered Dr. Bowen, he is everything you could want in a Dr. he’s professional & a warm & understanding person with a sense of humor! He saved me from having a hip replacement & those nasty cortisone shots. I had injections that actually healed my hip without any side effects, and I was able to walk normally with approximately 2 months ! Dr. Bowen is phenomenal. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease 6 months ago and wasn't getting the results I wanted so tried to go in the sports medicine route to see what chronic pain solutions he offered for major headaches. He listens to what you are saying, answers your questions thoroughly, and makes you feel like you are in great hands with medical treatment. I got multiple rounds of Prolozone shots in my neck and back to help with chronic headaches that could or could not have been associated to Lyme. All I know is he will help you with your chronic conditions, give you great recs for continuous treatment, and make you feel comfortable moving on with your life knowing he is treating you! Stick with the treatment and his recs, it may take time but it is all worth it. Strongly Recommend!
