Posterity Health:

Dr. Masson himself is an excellent provider very knowledgeable and skilled. The office staff/model at Posterity is of concern; different people are responsible for different aspects. For example one person schedules office visits, one person schedules surgical interventions, one person receives payments. As well, be careful because the office staff is in different time zones. Christin Gardner is the only helpful office staff member I worked with. The call center and office staff model is very disorganized and needs to be rebuilt completely. Thought I would update this post. Posterity Health has continued to be an incompetent fertility provider. Dr. Mason no longer works at Posterity Health for this reason; he is now a faculty member at Miami University. 3 months after a scheduled surgical procedure we received a surprise anesthesia cost of $2400; which was not included in our original estimate. My wife and I made the decision to receive care from another fertility company. Please do yourself and your family a favor and stay away from Posterity Health.

Dr. Masson is the most knowledgeable, capable, kind, responsive and empathetic doctors I have ever encountered. He took over my case from another doctor as my case fell under his specialty, and I am so happy he did. Dr. Masson laid out the steps that we needed to take for surgery and treatment, and everything happened quickly and smoothly. He was thorough, informative, and did everything possible to make me and my wife feel comfortable. He always took so much time with us, listened patiently and answered every question we had, and it is not often you find a doctor that is so skilled and knowledgable and has such an outstanding bedside manner. My experience with him was outstanding, and he has my highest recommendation.

Not impressed with the care I received for having a remote fertility doctor. The doctor had me do some genetic blood work and a radiological scrotal exam. The doctor did not look at the results before my next appointment. He had us read what the results said and he then was ADAMANT that I go to a urologist immediately. He was essentially indirectly pushing a false narrative of testicular cancer on me without saying it. Aside from this, I found out that I have Klinefelter Syndrome and the chances of helping me find sperm is a 20% chance. I went online and found Dr. Turek and was able to be seen by him in person the following week. Dr. Turek did a physical exam and ordered blood work. Cancer was not a concern and he found none. To make sure, he order the following tests to confirm what he thought: ALPHA FETOPROTEIN (TUMOR MARKER), TOTAL LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE, and TOTAL HCG. All of these came back in the low normal range, which mean NO TESTICULAR CANCER. Dr. Turek said that the experience I had with Posterity Health would be grounds for malpractice. There is no reason for me to go after them for that since I only had 2 remote appointments and 2 weeks of cancer fear. It's best to just drop them and move on with someone better like Dr. Turek. Also, Dr. Turek said that with his techniques, there is a 50-60% chance of finding sperm in my case.
