Mindstream Medicine

This was my last ditch effort. I had depression for years and multiple medications hadn’t done anything. I decided I wanted to feel happy again and I was willing to try something different. Dr Husted explained how it worked and exactly what a treatment would entail. It was done in his office, with a nurse , a comfy chair, a very safe and comfortable environment. I had no fear because I was at the end of my rope. Feeling like I did everyday was no longer a life I wanted to live. I hooked up with a therapist recommended by Dr Husted and I started my journey. I had 5 treatments which were spread out further than I wanted but encompassed the Christmas holiday season. After the first treatment I didn’t feel much different but I was determined to give it a chance. After the second treatment I had about 5 days of what I would describe as a veil being lifted. I felt happy. I was thrilled. After the 3rd treatment I felt terrible. I wasn’t feeling better and I was so sure, I had gone all in and now I doubted it was going to make me better. I was feeling crushed. But I kept going. Slowly, subtly the fog lifted. After the fifth treatment I was a new person. I was actually happy. It had been so long I had almost forgotten what that was like. It was the miracle I had been hoping for. I am so thankful to Dr Husted and my therapist for guiding me and providing me with a safe and effective treatment that my conventional treatment doctors had failed to offer me.

Evan is a great physician and Mindstream Medicine was a great experience. I did my initial ketamine infusions series at another provider and after I discussed my experience with my therapist she recommended Mindstream. I found the intake to be thorough and the infusions to be a good experience. I would recommend Mindstream's ketamine treatments to anyone looking for relief from treatment resistant depression.
