Carolina Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Associates

This was my first time visiting Carolina Orthopaedic & Neurosurgical Associates, and overall I left feeling very well cared for. After an unfortunately rude encounter with one of the front desk workers, I was immediately reassured that I was in good hands once I got past the front desk and met the medical staff. The nurse who assisted me was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She took the time to truly listen to all of my concerns and made me feel comfortable and heard. Samantha Flory, PA-C was equally wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough, and she also took the time to listen carefully and address my concerns in a way that made me feel confident in my care. I truly appreciate the professionalism, kindness, and expertise shown by the medical staff, and it made a huge difference in my experience. I only wish the same level of professionalism had been reflected by the front desk worker I encountered. Despite that initial interaction, I’m grateful for the excellent care provided by the clinical staff and would gladly see Samantha Flory, PA-C again.

First of all, I want to say that I was seen in a timely matter and I did not have to wait for my appointment. That is very important to me. Dr. EFIRD was a pleasant surprise. His matter was friendly and affable. He had patience, he listened to everything I had to say, and answered all my questions. He never made me feel rushed, or that he had to run to his next appt. He respected my wishes not to take any pharmaceuticals and help me come up with a plan that honored my wishes. I felt like I was in good hands

Dr. Lim performed a Level 4 fusion on my cervical spine in Aug. 2025 and a Level 2 fusion of lower spine in Feb. 2026. He is an absolutely brilliant surgeon. Takes time to explain procedures and recovery in simple laymen’s terms. Excellent follow-up visits. Very personable. I am extremely pleased with the care I received from Dr. Lim and his PA.
