I was thrilled to meet Dr. Shields to discuss my medical condition and the options available to me. He was very thorough and I understood what he said to me. I chose one option and his staff will contact me to set up an appointment to discuss this further with the appropriate staff. I was impressed with the efficiency of he and his staff.

Dr. Shields truly listens to you and your concerns. He goes over each particular area that youre having issues with and performs a very thorough physical exam. As there are different pros and cons with each treatment forward, he carefully takes the time to go over each avenue and then turns the choice over to you so that as the patient you are able to have a very real say in your treatment. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Shields to anyone suffering and needing medical guidance and care.

My wife has a verified (through MRI and CT scans) spinal issue that is repairable and called out in the associated reports from these scans. We went to Dr. Shields for a second opinion on a pending surgery. He basically said nothing is wrong (contradicting the MRI and CT scans) and he pushed really hard to sell us on a spinal implant to control pain, while leaving the underlying issue unresolved. He told my wife how awful the surgery was she was facing and gave her false hope that the implant would mitigate her pain. She is currently in constant pain. My opinion of Dr. Shields is very low. While I appreciate his opinion, I really felt like he was selling a product to make a quick buck and did not have my wife’s best interest in mind. Not happy and will never ever visit that practice again. My wife deserves better. Much better!
