Family Psychiatry

Dr. Roozen has been wonderful in helping our child with their ADHD and associated behaviors. She is extremely calm, responsive, and organized, and we've been able to see so much progress. Our child is much happier about life and their ability to be successful. Re Family Psychiatry in general, the intake process went very smoothly and we were matched with a clinician very quickly. They are able to do virtual appointments, which is so helpful. Great experience!

I had my first appointment when I was about 17 and have been through so many things in the 9 years since. Family Psychiatry has been there with me through them all, providing the highest level of care. Rita is one of the best humans that you will come across. She truly cares about patients’ wellbeing and is prompt with her responses. She makes time to ensure that every patient has access to information, is very knowledgeable, and works hard to ensure that the burden of working with insurance isn’t all on the patient. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Rita, you will just have to see for yourself on that one! Sarah Sunday is patient, kind, professional, and meets you where you are. Life can be really challenging but having someone as knowledgeable and genuine as Sarah in your corner can make it a lot more manageable. She invests time in her patients to make sure that she understands your goals and then identifies a pathway forward which is always incredibly reassuring. Sarah is absolutely wonderful and I could not be more confident on my recommendation. It sounds a little bit cliche but Family Psychiatry truly is a family. They have cultivated and maintained a pristine balance of professionalism and genuine compassion and that it unfortunately rare in many of my experiences with the field of medicine in the modern day. I don’t often leave reviews on Google but I know how scary it can be picking a practice that you can trust with the more sensitive parts of life and I feel very grateful to have found Rita, Sarah, and the Family Psychistry of Issaquah team!

I've enjoyed my time with this practice. The doctors are great, front desk is very nice. Billing however is a nightmare. I wasn't charged for several months and now I have a huge bill. When I expressed my frustration, it didn't seem like it was taken seriously and felt very cold. It was blamed on my insurance and had no explanation otherwise. If you have a fantastic income and no need for budgeting, then I would recommend this place.
