Dr. Sam is a truly attentive and thorough naturopathic doctor. She takes the time to listen closely and really understand the full picture, never rushing the process. She ordered all the relevant labs, explained the results in clear language, and made sure I understood what they meant for my health. I also appreciate her whole-person approach; she considers physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors together. She’s especially knowledgeable in women’s health and current research. I started seeing Dr. Sam three months ago after a miscarriage after trying to get pregnant for some time. From the first appointment I have been beyond impressed with her! I've seen about 8 other naturopathic doctors over the past 10+ years for various dis-eases that I haven't quite been able to resolve (gut, thyroid, adrenal issues) and was shocked that Dr. Sam had advice and a plan for me that was different than what any other doctor had recommended. In addition to lab work, she recommended a hair test (which I've never done) which found my potassium and sodium levels completely depleted. No wonder I had been feeling so defeated! We've been working on nutrition shifts and healing my gut in addition to new supplementation with a slow and steady plan of action. Dr. Sam is so thorough and kind and has made me feel incredibly seen and understood. She always seems to have new ideas up her sleeve if something isn't working and there's never any pressure or judgement for not going with a recommendation. I am feeling more energized and grounded and noticing small shifts in myself that make me so hopeful to not only regain my health, but for the ability to conceive again for a full-term pregnancy. I always leave Dr. Sam's office feeling so uplifted and positive and glad for a friend by my side in my health journey!
