Very frustrated with their shady billing practice. When I picked up equipment I asked about cost, I called billing about what I should expect to be charged twice and they kept telling me as long as I returned it within the return window I would not be charged. I did return it and asked again and they said they could not say or even guess but it was in the return window. They opened the equipment when I picked it up and I only used it for 10 minutes at home and returned it all and was still charged $250 without any warning. I am disputing the charge but they are extremely shady and they should be reported for shady business practices.

Performance Home Medical is a poorly run company. I'm convinced it's run by people who only care about the money and don't care about the people they serve. Their customer service over the phone has been consistently poor, and I've been made to feel like I'm inconveniencing the customer service representatives by calling in to ask for assistance. The billing department is equally poorly run: they seem to put in the bare minimum effort to work with your insurance, and are quick to send your bills to threatening collections agencies if you don't pay immediately. It often feels impossible to get through to talk to anyone in the billing department when a billing issue arises. One time I was trying to settle a bill with them but their billing website wasn't working, and after weeks of trying and failing to get through to their billing department, they sent my bill to a collections agency. I will never do business with this company again. If you're able to avoid them, I recommend saving yourself the headache.
