Los Gatos, CA
Red light therapy, also marketed locally as LED therapy or photobiomodulation, is offered in Los Gatos mostly along two corridors rather than scattered across town. Los Gatos Boulevard, the commercial spine linking downtown to Highway 85, carries a run of medical offices, dermatology practices and wellness studios that have added LED panels and red light beds alongside their core services. A second cluster sits near downtown, around North Santa Cruz Avenue and University Avenue, where boutique recovery studios and chiropractic offices share storefronts with shops and cafes. A few providers operate near the El Camino Hospital Los Gatos campus on Pollard Road, serving patients already in that medical corridor for other care. Residents from Monte Sereno and Saratoga typically reach these clinics via Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, while those from Campbell or Blossom Hill in San Jose usually take Highway 17 or Highway 85 into town.
Locally, red light therapy sessions are usually delivered inside a dermatology office, a chiropractic or physical therapy practice, or a standalone recovery and wellness studio, with a technician or clinician operating the LED device under practice supervision. A first visit typically covers the concern being addressed, which device and wavelength the practice uses, and a plain explanation of what a session feels like. Follow up is usually a short series of visits spaced over several weeks, though this page does not state a fixed count since protocols vary by provider and by what is being treated.
Before booking, ask who supervises the practice and what their credentials are, exactly what device and wavelength is being used, and how side effects and realistic expectations are disclosed in writing. Ask what a quote includes and what might be billed separately, and what happens if a course of sessions does not meet your goals.
This page does not sell its order: organic placement here is not for sale, Featured slots are labeled and capped rather than open ended, and Verified marks a credential check rather than a payment. Browsing Regenerated.com is free for patients, and a clinic's presence in this directory is not an endorsement of its claims or its results.
For the mechanism and the evidence behind red light therapy generally, see the national treatment hub, and for how this list is built and ordered, read How to read a Regenerated city hub and Featured vs Verified vs organic.
Regulatory context
The "other" category is a catchall for regenerative wellness modalities with inconsistent federal oversight. Red light therapy devices (photobiomodulation) have narrow FDA 510(k) clearances for acne, muscle pain, and wound healing, not systemic regeneration. Whole-body cryotherapy is NOT FDA-approved for any medical indication and received an FDA safety communication in July 2016 warning of asphyxiation, frostbite, and burn risks. Ozone therapy is NOT FDA-approved for any medical use and the FDA has stated ozone is a toxic gas with no known useful medical application. Condition-specific regenerative offerings (hair restoration with minoxidil or finasteride, ED care beyond PDE5 inhibitors and shockwave) have varying approval depending on route and drug source.
California is among the strictest enforcement states. The Medical Board of California has issued public advisories and taken disciplinary action against medical spas for corporate practice of medicine violations, unsupervised RN injections, and false advertising of unapproved therapies. Ozone therapy is heavily scrutinized and clinics making cancer or infection treatment claims risk board discipline and Attorney General consumer protection action. The California Department of Public Health and local health departments also investigate facility and infection control issues at wellness clinics.
