Visited the office as a new patient and had a HORRIBLE experience. I definitely would NOT recommend, especially if you are a person of color. I myself work in the medical field & was recommended this office by several individuals. Since I live a couple blocks away I thought it would be perfect for me. However my experience was by far the worst I have ever had at an appointment. I was a few minutes early for my appointment, rang the doorbell and was not let in. The receptionist at the front desk, saw me standing at the door and would not let me in. I called twice and recieved no answer. I waited 5 minutes until another woman approached the door, rang the bell & was immediately let in. Upon our arrival the receptionist greeted the other patient but not myself, & tried to service her first despite me being there first. The other patient was kind enough to inform the receptionist that I was here first. While checking in with the receptionist she had a horrible, mean, nasty attitude. She seemed bothered by my presence & her tone was completely different to me than the other patient (myself being a woman of color and the other patient being white). Absolutely unacceptable. Later on during my appointment with the physician, she would not look me in my eye, and barely spoke to me. It seemed as though she was rushing to get me out of there, the appointment was only about 10 minutes long. I explained to her that I had been eager to find a new physician, yet she had no urgency to make me feel comfortable nor welcomed in the office. At the end of the appointment she informed me that she would be back in a moment with some forms. I waited for her to come back since I had questions to conclude our visit. Instead the nurse practitioner came back, handed me the forms and informed me how to get out of the office. I was completely left alone in the back of the building, in an office in an area I was unfamiliar with. When I checked out with the receptionist, she still had a negative attitude, sighed and rolled her eyes when I had questions. I have been a receptionist for many companies and would gladly train your receptionist on how to appropriately handle interactions with guests. Overall during my visit I interacted with 3 different employees of the office, and not one was friendly, welcoming or kind which is absolutely not what I expected based off of how they portray themselves online. It was very disappointing to see my white counterparts being treated better than I. Do not come here!

I have been a patient here for probably 15ish years; some experiences have been better than others. However, in the past 3 years, I have seen just two people: Alicia Loper and (just recently) Katherine Olmstead. Both are nurse practitioners, and both are excellent: caring, patient, thorough, and comforting. They both know how to be professional without sacrificing warmth, and I never felt rushed, judged, or misunderstood by either one. Highly recommend.

I do not recommend. My appointment with Dr. Faust-Rakos lasted no more than 3-4 minutes and was rushed and impersonal. She did not provide attentive or thorough care. The office comes off as very $$$ driven, nickel-and-diming at every opportunity. For example, before I even entered the exam room, I was asked to sign a waiver stating that discussing any “problem/issue” during the visit could result in additional fees. This is something I have never encountered at a medical practice.
