I did not find this BodyLogicMD branch to be particularly professional or knowledgeable. All “virtual” appointments are conducted by phone rather than video, which immediately creates a sense of disconnect. After the initial appointment, there is no direct way to communicate with the nurse practitioner—questions or concerns must go through a practice manager, which often led to delayed responses and misunderstandings. There is also no patient messaging portal, which is surprising for a paid, non-insurance medical practice. Communication overall was very disjointed. My original NP left the practice, and a follow-up appointment was scheduled with a different NP without any explanation. I had to ask multiple times—and ultimately call—to understand why this change occurred and who the new provider was. No credentials were shared, and I was not impressed with the review of my results or the level of expertise demonstrated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location and plan to enroll elsewhere.

BodyLogic has been a great company to work with these past 8 years, however lately they seemed to be dropping the ball communicating, booking appointments never agreed to and ramping up the fees. $75 just to fax a lab order?!? No. I went elsewhere and suggest you do too.

I appreciate how open Dr Lai is to working with my concerns. He is willing to meet me where I am considering various treatment options. What his clinic can greatly improve upon is having more extensive knowledge and understanding of what the testing results show. Regarding the results of my urine test, no one seemed to be able to extensively explain or help me to understand what the data reflects. I wish someone could have more accurately interpreted what exactly is going on with my body. Lots of things appeared to be out of range and no one really cared to explain what this means for my health.
