Ozone Therapy clinics in Tampa
The Tampa ozone therapy hub displays nine listing records. Its structured addresses include seven postal codes: 33602, 33606, 33607, 33611, 33612, 33614 and 33629. Two records use Henderson Blvd, but their street numbers differ: 4045 and 4240. The 33606 entries also have different streets, W Cass St and W Swann Ave. Those distinctions matter when matching a listing to an appointment address. Read the full street number and any suite, rather than relying on a shared road or postal code. Confirm the intended location directly before planning a visit.
Local offerings include consultations in medical offices and treatment in outpatient infusion settings. The term ozone therapy can describe different procedures, including treating withdrawn blood before returning it to the patient or using localized applications. Ask who performs the procedure, what license they hold, and which clinician supervises and handles complications. A first consultation should review your diagnosis, medications, prior treatment and goals before any procedure is proposed.
Request the exact administration method, the source of the oxygen used to generate ozone, and an explanation of how equipment and blood handling are managed. Obtain written risks and side effects, aftercare instructions, and a contact for problems after leaving. Agree on how progress will be assessed, when to stop if there is no benefit, and whether follow-up can happen remotely when travel across Tampa Bay is difficult. These services are commonly cash pay; ask what the quote includes and whether consultations, testing or follow-up cost extra.
Evidence for many advertised uses is limited, and ozone therapy is not FDA approved to treat medical conditions. The national ozone therapy hub explains the proposed mechanisms and evidence; use this Tampa page to compare local access and questions to ask providers.
Regenerated.com is free for patients, and organic listing order cannot be purchased. Featured placements are labeled and capped, while Verified refers to credential checks rather than advertising spend. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement of a provider or treatment. Regulatory context
A note on Florida's ozone therapy rules.
The "other" category is a catchall for regenerative wellness modalities with inconsistent federal oversight. Red light therapy devices (photobiomodulation) have narrow FDA 510(k) clearances for acne, muscle pain, and wound healing, not systemic regeneration. Whole-body cryotherapy is NOT FDA-approved for any medical indication and received an FDA safety communication in July 2016 warning of asphyxiation, frostbite, and burn risks. Ozone therapy is NOT FDA-approved for any medical use and the FDA has stated ozone is a toxic gas with no known useful medical application. Condition-specific regenerative offerings (hair restoration with minoxidil or finasteride, ED care beyond PDE5 inhibitors and shockwave) have varying approval depending on route and drug source.
-
Florida Medical Practice Act (Fla. Stat. Ch. 458)
Defines practice of allopathic medicine and delegation rules for wellness clinics. -
Florida Osteopathic Medical Practice Act (Fla. Stat. Ch. 459)
Parallel statute governing DO practice commonly seen at Florida regenerative clinics. -
Florida Health Care Clinic Act (Fla. Stat. Ch. 400.990)
Requires certain clinics to hold a Health Care Clinic license unless the clinic qualifies for an exemption based on physician ownership.
Florida is generally permissive but with notable pockets of active enforcement. The Department of Health and boards of medicine and osteopathic medicine investigate unlicensed practice, false advertising of unapproved therapies, and pill mill style operations. The Agency for Health Care Administration enforces the Health Care Clinic Act. Ozone and chelation clinics have faced board action when marketing cancer or Lyme treatment. The Attorney General pursues deceptive health claims under Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.
