Tampa, FL
A Clearwater search for chelation therapy can land on this Tampa page because many listings share a broad Tampa Bay service area, and the two cities are not interchangeable once you need an actual appointment address. Clearwater has local offerings, including around Lakeview Road and the US Highway 19 corridor, while Tampa options include offices northwest of downtown along the Dale Mabry Highway and Veterans Expressway corridor. Check each listing's treatment address before comparing the drive: a Tampa Bay service area does not tell you which side of the bay hosts infusions. From Clearwater, Gulf to Bay Boulevard and the Courtney Campbell Causeway connect to Tampa, worth considering when planning visits. Pinellas County and Hillsborough County each have their own licensed providers, so start with listings whose address sits on the Clearwater side before weighing a trip across the bay.
Local offerings include chelation infusions in integrative medical offices, where the proposed treatment should start with a clinical evaluation. Ask who prescribes the medication, whether a nurse or physician administers it, and who supervises the appointment. The first assessment should review the suspected exposure or diagnosed condition, current medications and relevant laboratory results. Confirm where follow-up testing happens and how the clinician will decide whether to continue, change or stop care.
Before booking, request the drug's exact name, the supplying pharmacy or manufacturer, and the reason for choosing it. Ask for written information about side effects and serious risks, including kidney injury and changes in blood mineral levels, plus instructions for getting help afterward. Get a written quote separating evaluation, medication, infusion administration, testing and follow-up, and ask what happens if treatment does not help. Wellness chelation is commonly cash pay, and many advertised uses lack FDA approval and convincing evidence of benefit.
Regenerated.com does not sell organic listing order. Featured spaces are labeled and limited in number; Verified reflects credential checks, not how much a provider spends. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and a directory listing is not an endorsement of the provider or its claims.

Regulatory context
The FDA has approved a narrow set of chelating agents for specific heavy metal toxicities. Calcium disodium edetate (CaNa2EDTA, Versenate) is approved for symptomatic lead poisoning, succimer (Chemet, DMSA) for pediatric lead poisoning at blood lead levels above 45 mcg/dL, deferoxamine (Desferal) and deferasirox (Exjade) for chronic iron overload, and dimercaprol (BAL) for arsenic, gold, and acute lead poisoning. Use of EDTA chelation for cardiovascular disease was studied in the NIH-funded TACT trial (2013) with controversial findings and remains not FDA-approved for that indication. Chelation for autism spectrum disorder is not evidence-based and has been linked to pediatric deaths. The FDA issued a 2010 sweep of warning letters to compounders marketing OTC chelation products with unapproved disease claims.
Florida has historically been one of the most permissive states for chelation therapy due to a more permissive osteopathic medical board and a large integrative medicine market in South Florida. The Florida Medical Board has investigated chelation clinics for autism marketing and inadequate informed consent. Florida does not license NDs, so chelation practice is restricted to MDs and DOs. Several pediatric chelation incidents nationally have prompted the Florida Department of Health to remind practitioners of the importance of using CaNa2EDTA rather than the dangerous Na2EDTA.
