I’ve been seeing Dr Afrooz since 2015. I have Lyme and a number of co-infections that were not caught in time, so every couple of years I need a bit of a tune-up. Her office staff is always prompt in scheduling my appointments, answering my questions and reaching Dr Afrooz immediately when I am having issues with medications or bad symptom flares. My appointments are never rushed, and if she is running late, I am always told well ahead of time. I know that if she is behind schedule, it is because she is giving a fellow patient the amount of time and attention that anyone with this awful disease deserves. Her post-visit summaries are always very helpful. I have bad brain fog as a result of my Lyme and she does a good job of summarizing everything for me so I can refer back to it. Her office is also very well-equipped with adjunct therapies such a hyperbaric oxygen and infusions and the pricing on these services is fair. She truly cares about her patients and their families and she has helped me through some very dark times. Thank you, Dr. Afrooz!

Cut Above the Rest – Dr. Sultana Afrooz Truly Saved My Life I was referred to Dr. Afrooz by a former Lyme patient who had great success under her care. I immediately saved her information in my phone—finding a truly skilled doctor with a track record of treating Lyme disease effectively is rare. At the time, I thought I was doing well. She is truly passionate about what she does. You won’t find many doctors like her anymore—ones who are as committed, insightful, and driven to see their patients thrive. While she runs a lean operation with a small staff, the quality of care is unmatched. You need to be patient and persistent, but if you are, you will not find a better place to get well and stay well. If I could give more starts I would have. I have recommended her to many people. I now get my bio identical Hormone Replacement Therapy done with her as well, which has been a hard to find a good doctor in that area as well, truly, a real lifesaver!

Avoid this place. The doctor was rude, the service rushed, and the results were completely unreliable. We spent a lot of money expecting a thorough check-up for our family, but instead got poor treatment and zero accountability. Even when we called to sort things out, the staff acted like we were the problem. Untrustworthy and unprofessional.
