Houston, TX
For stem cell therapy in Houston, compare providers around the Texas Medical Center, Galleria and Energy Corridor, plus Sugar Land along the Southwest Freeway. Houston’s stem-cell market sits next to one of the densest medical clusters in the country. Plan travel along I-10 for the Energy Corridor or I-69 toward Sugar Land, and confirm the procedure address before booking follow-up visits. Choose a location you can return to for reassessment, not just the initial procedure.
The same “stem cell” label can describe a same-day bone marrow or fat-derived preparation, a wellness offering or an investigational protocol. Those are not interchangeable. A physician office, procedure room or infusion suite should identify who administers treatment and who supervises it. A first consultation should review your diagnosis, medications, prior care and relevant imaging or tests, with a written follow-up plan. Confirm whether reassessments take place at the same Houston-area office and who handles concerns between visits.
This hub lists clinics that appear in our Directory for Houston and stem-cell therapy. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and listing order is not a paid ranking. Regenerated.com is free for patients. Organic relevance and published evidence signals are separate from labeled, capped Featured placements. Verified badges, when present, reflect credential checks, not spend.
When you evaluate Houston options, ask what tissue or cell source is used, where it comes from, whether it is your own or donor material, and who performs the procedure. Ask what outcomes they track, how adverse events are handled and what regulatory basis permits the specific use. Proximity to an academic medical campus does not validate a private clinic’s advertising. Many marketed uses lack FDA approval, and evidence remains limited for many conditions.
Prefer clinicians who explain risks in plain language, document informed consent and connect claims to published research rather than before-and-after photos. Request written side-effect information, an itemized quote separating product, procedure, imaging and follow-up charges, and a plan if symptoms do not improve. Many offerings are cash pay; verify any claimed insurance coverage with your insurer. We omit invented city price averages here.

Regulatory context
Texas cellular therapy is governed by 21 CFR Part 1271. Section 361 covers minimally manipulated HCT/Ps used for homologous use without premarket approval. Section 351 covers products that are more than minimally manipulated, used non-homologously, or combined with another article, and these require an IND for clinical use or a BLA for marketing. Most stem cell, stromal vascular fraction, and exosome therapies marketed in Texas for orthopedic, neurologic, and longevity indications are Section 351 biologics that lack FDA approval. Texas enacted a state-level investigational adult stem cell framework in 2017 that does not override federal law.
The FDA has issued warning letters to Texas clinics offering stem cell and exosome therapies. The Texas Medical Board has disciplined physicians for unprofessional conduct including misleading regenerative medicine advertising. The Texas Attorney General has used the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act to pursue providers making unsupported clinical claims. HB 810 expressly does not preempt federal law, so even Texas providers operating under HB 810 must comply with 21 CFR Part 1271 and remain subject to FDA enforcement if products fall outside Section 361.
