Texas
Texas is a big state to search for TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) in, and supply is uneven. Most capacity sits in a handful of major metros, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin, where urology, endocrinology, primary care, and dedicated men's health practices concentrate. Smaller metros and rural counties carry little or none of that capacity, and patients outside the big four often choose between a multi-hour drive and a telehealth visit, which is why searches for telehealth testosterone therapy serving Texas patients are common. A telehealth visit can start the process, but Texas providers still generally need an appropriate clinical evaluation, often including lab work, before testosterone is prescribed, whether that evaluation happens online or in person.
Texas does not have a special rule unique to TRT. The people permitted to diagnose low testosterone and prescribe treatment are physicians and, depending on supervision arrangements, physician assistants and nurse practitioners operating under the general scope-of-practice rules that already govern prescribing in this state. Where a program is actually delivered, physician office, infusion suite, or wellness-branded setting, affects how closely a prescriber stays involved and how monitoring happens, so ask directly rather than assuming "clinic" means the same thing everywhere.
To check a Texas provider's credentials, look up physicians and physician assistants with the Texas Medical Board and nurses and nurse practitioners with the Texas Board of Nursing. A clean record on either board confirms licensure and discloses public disciplinary history. It does not tell you whether a specific program fits your symptoms or goals, so pair the lookup with your own questions.
Before booking anywhere in Texas, ask who evaluates you and who adjusts your dose, exactly what medication is used and where it comes from, how risks such as changes in blood count or blood pressure are disclosed in writing, what happens if symptoms do not improve, and for an itemized quote covering consultations, medication, supplies, and labs separately. Listing order on this page is not paid ranking, Featured slots are labeled and capped, Verified means a clinic completed credential checks rather than paid for placement, and Regenerated.com is free for patients to use.
