United States
This is the national page for eczema treatment on Regenerated.com, listing clinics across the United States that record care for eczema, most often atopic dermatitis, along with contact dermatitis, dyshidrotic eczema and nummular eczema. Eczema treatment aims to calm skin inflammation, repair the skin barrier, control itch and prevent flares. Standard care uses daily emollients, topical corticosteroids, topical calcineurin inhibitors such as tacrolimus and pimecrolimus, and newer topical options such as crisaborole, ruxolitinib cream, tapinarof and roflumilast. Moderate to severe atopic dermatitis may be treated with narrowband UVB phototherapy, injectable biologics such as dupilumab, tralokinumab, lebrikizumab or nemolizumab, or oral JAK inhibitors such as upadacitinib and abrocitinib. Care is delivered by dermatologists, allergists and immunologists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and patients often compare it with care for psoriasis, food allergy, rosacea and chronic hives.
The evidence for eczema treatment is strongest for guideline based dermatology. Guidelines from the American Academy of Dermatology place moisturizers, topical anti inflammatory medicines and phototherapy at the base of care, and the creams, biologics and oral medicines above are FDA approved for atopic dermatitis within specific age and severity indications. Research led by Irwin McLean linked loss of function changes in the filaggrin gene to a weaker skin barrier, which helps explain why barrier repair matters. Oral JAK inhibitors carry boxed safety warnings, so they are prescribed with screening and monitoring. Evidence for IV drips, ozone, elimination diets without confirmed allergy, broad food sensitivity panels or stem cell injections in eczema is thin, and none of them is approved for eczema. Those services are usually cash pay.
A typical candidate has eczema diagnosed by a clinician and still has itch, broken sleep, frequent flares or patches that keep returning despite good skin care. Children and adults with widespread disease are often assessed for specialist care and systemic treatment. Spreading redness with fever, pus, crusting or painful clustered blisters can signal infection, including eczema herpeticum, and needs prompt medical care rather than a routine booking. Pregnancy, active infections, certain cancers and immune conditions change which eczema treatments are suitable, so those patients are usually steered toward a physician led program.
Supply of eczema care is spread nationwide across several kinds of settings. Eczema treatment is offered in dermatology and allergy practices, hospital and university dermatology departments, pediatric offices, phototherapy units, and integrative or functional medicine clinics that describe their work as inflammation care. Listings concentrate in large metros such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and Phoenix, while many rural areas have fewer dermatologists and longer waits. Many patients across the country travel to a larger city for a specialist evaluation or phototherapy, then continue routine care closer to home or through telehealth where their state allows it.
Before booking anywhere, ask who holds the license, who supervises each treatment and whether a dermatologist or other physician has confirmed the diagnosis. Ask exactly what is administered or prescribed, in what strength and by what route, where it comes from, whether it is compounded, and whether its use for eczema is approved or off label. Ask for written disclosure of risks, required lab monitoring and interactions with your current medicines. A clear quote itemizes the consultation, any patch or allergy testing, medicines, phototherapy visits and follow up, and the plan should say how progress will be judged.
This national list is not for sale. Organic order is never paid ranking, Featured slots are labeled and capped, and Verified means the clinic completed credential checks, not that it spent money. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement of any clinic or treatment. Use the state hubs below the list to build a shortlist of eczema providers closer to you, and read about the condition itself on the eczema condition page.
