IV Therapy clinics in the United States

This is the national page for IV therapy on Regenerated.com, listing clinics across the United States that record the treatment. IV therapy, also called intravenous therapy, IV infusion therapy, IV hydration, IV vitamin therapy or IV nutrient therapy, delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and other compounds directly into a vein through a small catheter, usually over a seated session. A typical wellness drip combines saline or lactated Ringer's solution with B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium or zinc, and the best known formula is the Myers' cocktail, named after the Baltimore physician John Myers. Physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants order the infusions, and registered nurses usually place the line and monitor the session. People often compare it with oral supplements, intramuscular vitamin shots, NAD+ IV therapy, high dose vitamin C infusions, chelation and glutathione pushes.

The evidence picture is split, and it is worth saying plainly. IV fluids, IV iron and IV vitamins are established hospital medicine for dehydration, iron deficiency anemia, and deficiencies in people who cannot absorb nutrients by mouth, such as after bariatric surgery or with inflammatory bowel disease. Wellness uses, including fatigue, immunity, hangovers, athletic recovery, migraine, fibromyalgia and anti aging, rest mostly on clinical experience and small studies. Physician Alan Gaby described the Myers' cocktail in a review in Alternative Medicine Review, and a small randomized trial in fibromyalgia led by Ather Ali at Yale found improvements in both the infusion and placebo groups without a clear difference between them. The individual ingredients are FDA approved drugs or are prepared by compounding pharmacies, but no wellness drip as a whole is FDA approved for the benefits it is marketed for, and the FDA has warned about contamination and dosing problems with some compounded products.

Candidates are generally adults with a documented deficiency, trouble absorbing oral nutrients, or a short term need for fluids, who have had a medical intake that includes their history and current medications. People with heart failure, kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, pregnancy, iron overload, or a red blood cell enzyme deficiency that high dose vitamin C can worsen are usually told to wait or check with their own physician first. Anyone with ongoing exhaustion or recurrent dehydration should have the cause worked up rather than treated drip by drip.

Supply is broad. IV therapy is offered in hospital outpatient infusion centers, physician led integrative and functional medicine practices, stand alone IV lounges, medical spas, and mobile services that come to a home or hotel. Listings tend to concentrate in large Sun Belt and coastal metros, including Miami and South Florida, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Scottsdale, Dallas, Houston, and the New York area. Rules on who may own an IV clinic and who must supervise it vary by state, which is one reason two lounges in neighboring states can operate very differently. Some patients travel for a program, so ask how follow up works once you are home.

Before booking anywhere, ask who orders the infusion and which physician supervises the clinic, and check that license yourself. Ask exactly what is in the bag, the dose of each ingredient, and whether it comes from a licensed outsourcing or compounding pharmacy. Ask for written disclosure of risks such as vein irritation, bruising, infection, fluid overload and allergic reaction, and what the clinic does if one occurs. A clear quote itemizes the base infusion, each add on, any lab work, and membership or package terms.

This national list is not for sale. Organic order is never paid ranking, Featured slots are labeled and capped, and Verified means the clinic completed credential checks, not that it spent money. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement. Use the state hubs below the list to build a shortlist closer to you.

IV Therapy in the United States, answered.

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals or other compounds straight into a vein through a small catheter, so they reach the bloodstream without passing through the gut. A wellness drip usually pairs saline with B vitamins, vitamin C and magnesium, often in a Myers' cocktail style formula. Blood levels rise faster and higher than with pills, but the body still clears excess water soluble vitamins, so higher blood levels do not automatically mean more benefit.

IV vitamin therapy is established for treating dehydration, iron deficiency anemia and nutrient deficiencies in people who cannot absorb vitamins by mouth. For fatigue, immunity, hangovers, migraine, athletic recovery and anti aging, the support comes mostly from small studies and clinical experience. A small Yale trial of a Myers' cocktail in fibromyalgia found no clear difference from placebo. The ingredients are approved drugs or compounded preparations, but no wellness drip is FDA approved for these marketed benefits.

An infusion wellness center is a clinic that offers IV vitamin, hydration and nutrient infusions on a cash pay basis, often alongside injections and other wellness services. Some are led by physicians in integrative or functional medicine, while others are IV lounges or medical spas with a medical director who may be off site. The label alone tells you little, so check who orders each infusion, who supervises the clinic, and where the ingredients are sourced.

A well qualified IV therapy clinic that offers customized wellness infusions starts with a medical intake, reviews your medications and history, and orders labs when a deficiency is suspected. A licensed clinician should write the formula and explain each ingredient and dose in writing. No directory can name a single best provider, and this page does not rank clinics by quality. Compare credentials, intake process and sourcing across the state hubs below the list.

Many IV therapy clinics also offer NAD+ infusions, and some add ketamine therapy for mood disorders or testosterone replacement therapy. These are separate treatments with different evidence, risks and supervision rules, so a clinic that does one well may not be set up for another. Ketamine for depression calls for psychiatric screening and monitoring, and testosterone therapy calls for lab testing and ongoing follow up. Look for each treatment on its own page in the directory.

A typical candidate for IV therapy is an adult with a documented deficiency, trouble absorbing oral nutrients, or a short term need for fluids, who has completed a medical intake. People with heart failure, kidney disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, pregnancy or iron overload are usually advised to check with their own physician first. Anyone with persistent fatigue or repeated dehydration should have the underlying cause investigated rather than relying on drips.

The cost of IV therapy is driven by the ingredients and their doses, add ons such as NAD+ or glutathione, whether a physician or nurse is on site, lab work, mobile visit fees, and membership or package terms. Insurance rarely covers wellness drips, though it may cover IV treatment for a diagnosed deficiency. This page publishes no averages because quotes bundle different services and change often. Ask each clinic for an itemized written quote.

Comparing IV therapy clinics in Florida or any other state starts with the state medical and nursing boards, which offer free online license lookups for the ordering clinician and supervising physician. On this page, organic order is never sold, Featured slots are labeled and capped, and Verified means credential checks, not spend.
