United States
This is the national page for peptide therapy on Regenerated.com, listing clinics across the United States that record the treatment. Peptide therapy, also called peptide treatment, therapeutic peptides or peptide protocols, uses short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. Most are given as small subcutaneous injections at home after training, and a few come as nasal sprays, oral capsules or creams. Commonly discussed peptides include GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide and tirzepatide for weight and blood sugar, growth hormone secretagogues such as sermorelin, tesamorelin, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin, and recovery peptides such as BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4. Physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants prescribe them, often in functional medicine, anti aging, hormone, sports medicine and weight management practices. People often compare peptide therapy with hormone replacement therapy, testosterone replacement therapy, HGH therapy, NAD+ therapy and IV therapy.
The evidence depends entirely on which peptide is meant. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are FDA approved for type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management, backed by large randomized trials such as the STEP and SURMOUNT programs, and tesamorelin is approved for excess abdominal fat in people with HIV. Most peptides marketed for recovery, metabolism, hormone support or anti aging have only animal studies, small human studies or clinical experience behind them. Those are usually supplied by compounding pharmacies and used off label or outside any approval. In 2023 the FDA listed several popular peptides, including BPC-157 and certain thymosin beta-4 fragments, among bulk substances with possible safety concerns for compounding, and products sold online as research chemicals are not meant for human use at all.
Candidates are generally adults with a clear goal and a medical intake that includes history, current medications and baseline labs, such as people with obesity or type 2 diabetes being considered for a GLP-1 medication, or adults with symptoms and lab results that a clinician wants to address. People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active cancer or a history of certain cancers, or have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer, which matters for GLP-1 drugs, are usually told to wait or look elsewhere. So are people with uncontrolled diabetes or pancreatitis history, and anyone whose symptoms have not yet had a standard medical workup.
Supply is broad and uneven. Peptide therapy is offered by physician led integrative and functional medicine practices, hormone and men's health clinics, weight loss clinics, sports and regenerative medicine practices, medical spas and telehealth services. Listings tend to concentrate in large Sun Belt and coastal metros, including South Florida, Texas, Southern California, Arizona and the New York area, with many suburban practices as well. Because most peptides are self administered, many patients travel for the first consult and then continue with remote follow up, so ask how that works across state lines.
Before booking anywhere, ask who prescribes the peptide and which physician supervises the clinic, and check that license yourself. Ask exactly which peptide you will receive, its dose, and whether it comes from an FDA approved product, a state licensed compounding pharmacy or an outsourcing facility. Ask for written disclosure of risks such as nausea, injection site reactions, changes in blood sugar and interactions with your medications. A clear quote itemizes the consult, labs, the medication itself, supplies and any membership, and the clinic should explain what follow up and lab monitoring look like.
This national list is not for sale. Organic order is never paid ranking, Featured slots are labeled and capped, and Verified means the clinic completed credential checks, not that it spent money. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement. Use the state hubs below the list to build a shortlist closer to you.
